The Mathematical Association of America began forming student chapters
at the college level in 1989. Bradley's MAA student chapter was one of the
five charter chapters in Illinois. Membership is open to all who are
interested in mathematics and would like to learn more about mathematics.
Most students who join the chapter are mathematics majors or minors.
The chapter has sponsored field trips to such places as Allstate Insurance
in Northbrook, speakers on careers and graduate school, teams to
participate in college math competitions, and social activities.
The officers for the 1996-97 academic year are:
